The goal of the Noyce Scholars Program is to increase the number of science
and mathematics teachers prepared for teaching careers in high need schools.

High Needs Districts:
For the purposes
of this program, the National Science Foundation (Program Solicitation NSF 05-528)
defines a high needs district as one that meets at least one of the following
criteria:
